OLTL's Last Taping - November 18, 2011

Oh My Gawd! The day is finally here. Seriously I thought I'd never say this but today is the last tape date of One Life To Live. It truly has been a great pleasure to watch One Life to Live for all these years, its truly the only show I've ever loved and that had me obsessed 24/7. I'm really sad at the fact that ABC had to cancel it, and that's Abc's loss, they truly had something special on their hands and they're letting go of it forever! It's sad that they can't appreciate it's actors and the devoted fans. However one's loss is another one's gain. I'm very excited Prospect Park has picked it up and believes in what One Life To Live stands for, and believes in it's actors and their stories. I believe they will take the show to new levels, and make it even more special, because they stand behind the values behind the genre. Every fan can tell you why they love the show and why they want its legacy to continue.

For me this show has been very special to me as I've gone thru many things in my life and I've felt like the stories on OLTL have made it all seem ok, as I wasn't the only one fitting similar battles. OLTL has taught me that we all go thru many battles & triumphs in life, and by doing so we learn that we are surrounded by love, strength & beauty which helps us overcome anything and always coming out on top. The show has taught me about "life" and I truly cherish that. Thank you to the wonderful actors, writers, producers, directors, crew for making One Life To Live an exceptional show. You guys have made television history and have touched so many people, it's really indescribable the work that you do on a day to day basis. You guys deserve much more credit than what you are given, at least 100 times more. I know I'm not the only fan that feel this way.

I extend all of my love and support to everyone who's part of the show. I'm sure today must be a hard day as there will be some "goodbyes" and alot of "see you soons". I truly wish I could be there to experience the magic of being part of the One Life to Live family. I know I might not be there in person but I'm there in spirit, and I'm sure millions of fans too. One Life to Live we all love you and look forward to seeing you 2 more months on the air, and then to your transition on the internet. I'm glad that I will still see you on Thanksgiving and Christmas, as those are always my favorite shows. This is not a "Goodbye" but a "See You Soon!"

Lots of love from my part :)

-Mikey
